Safe Drive Safe Life campaign, launched by the West Bengal government to inculcate a sense of safe driving and responsible road behaviour among people in the state, is a welcome initiative. According to the philosophy of the campaign roads are an integral part of our life. Each one of us uses them to go to school, offices, markets, hospitals, and then to reach home back.
Safe driving is an essential component of road safety. Every day, so many people lose lives due to irresponsible and reckless driving. So the purpose of the campaign is to ensure road safety by sensitizing the concept of safe driving among people, especially the youngsters and children. If you omit slightest precautions of safety, your life can be in jeopardy.
Be extremely cautious when you drive on road. Follow all the traffic rules meticulously. The most important thing that everyone using roads must keep in mind is avoid ‘HURRY’.
