However, if you encounter some problems trying to use the Indian version of Brainly, you 'd better try Brainly.com - it has users from various nationalities, it might be easier for you there.

On the uppermost part of the page, you will find a bar. Let's call it the "top bar".

# Search bar: (with preset text - WHAT IS YOUR QUESTION? ) Need to search? Just type it on the Search Bar. You can search for questions, answers, users - well, everything.
# Message Box or Inbox: This is your inbox or message box. Found a user willing to be your friend? Want to talk with him/her? Want to do "chatting"? It's the place for all such activities.
Here, you can converse with other users. Chatting should be done in the inbox not outside.
Your conversation with different users would be stored in different square-shaped menus. Once you click on the button you can see for yourself. Click on them to open the conversation. All the messages will be stored.
To send someone a message, go to their profile page and click "WRITE A MESSAGE".
# Notifications button: Click here and get informed of your notifications. All the notifications are stacked here. Maybe somebody noticed your answer and said thanks for the help; maybe a moderator spotted a itsy bitsy little mistake in your answer and asks for you to get it fixed; maybe somebody answered your question, and news of that sort are referred to as "notifications" in Brainly.
# Friends list : It has list of all your friends. Also, it contains invitations from users interested to become friends with you.
USERS
There are two kinds of users in Brainly: regular users and moderators.
Regular users - Users just like you - a new one! Your main job is helping others while you can also seek help by simply answering and questioning. You are given ranks on the basis of number of points and best answers, for more information go to http://brainly.in/ranks/index.
Moderators - They are users who have been working on Brainly for quite some time, they have been chosen because of their answers. Their work is to make brainly a spam protected site. Anyone who uses foul language, ridiculous answers, or inappropriate questions only for gaining points, not providing reasonable answer gets deleted by them.
Simply, the moderators' main task is to delete anything illegal to post in Brainly - be it answers, comments or anything else. They fight against spam, copies, mistakes, links, stolen answers and more.
Shortly defining moderators, they are dedicated users voluntarily serving to increase Brainly's quality.
