Flood Plains :- During rainy season sometimes the volume of water in river increases. The flood water overflows its banks. When subsides, the sediments are left behind the course material such as gravel and Pebble are deposited along the bank and silt is deposited further away. The plane formed in this way is called flood plain. Example- the Indus Ganga plains are flood Plains of the India's the Ganga Brahmaputra river stream.
