1 a) matter is anything that occupies space and has mas. there are mainly three types of matter. Solid, liquid and gas.example : solid = stone. liquid = water. gas = Oxygen.

2 a) A liquid is a form of matter. It is settled between solid and gas. Liquid has an almost-fixed volume, but no set shape

b) Because the particles can move, liquids don't have a definite shape, and they can flow. Because the particles are still packed close together, liquids can't easily be compressed and keep the same volume

3 a) Gas is a state of matter that has no fixed shape and no fixed volume. Gases have lower density than other states of matter, such as solids and liquids. ..

b)While solids have certain shape and volume, liquids only have definite volume but not shape, gases neither have shape nor volume. The level of energy is highest in gases, medium in liquid and lowest in solids. The compression of solids is difficult, liquids are nearly incompressible, but gases can be easily compressed

4 because its molecules are set freely. so it has more energy.

5 vacuum

6 a)gas has more force,solid has less.

b)gas has more space between molecules and solid has less space.

c)gas can't contains in an open beaker. but water can contain in a beaker or vessel.. solid can contain any surface.

d)molecules are not compressible in solid and liquid.gas is more compressible.

e) in solid molecules are made closely. in water there is a little space. in gas molecules are set freely.
