ii) (A∪B)¹ = A¹ ∩ B¹

LHS

(A∪B)¹ = {5}     (∵ as 5 belongs to a universal set and not to set A or set B)

RHS

A¹ = {3,5}

B¹ = {2,5}

∴ A¹ ∩ B¹ = {5}
