This poem was written during the freedom struggle of India, So Sarojini Naidu may be trying to unite the Indians and tell them to fight for their independence. She may have tried to encourage the Indians to buy goods from their traditional bazaars rather than purchasing foreign goods because indian goods wereactually removed from the bazaar byy the british or were highly proced making it very difficult rather impossible to buy them. So she may have tried to awaken the spirit of patriotism through this poem by encouraging Indians to take part in Gandhiji's Swadeshi Movement and boycotting all British goods from the markets. At that time the publication of Indian newspapers were also banned, so writing a poem was the best way to spreading the message she wanted to reach to all indians
