So.

Now I am going to tell you that whether the answers are simple compound or complex.... But at first you need to know how to find simple compound and complex.... There is an easy trick to find it out...so let me help it out..

Simple sentence - if the sentence is in one sentence or they have the main clause are known as simple sentence

Compound sentence - when the sentence have coordinating clause or if the conjunction is "FANBOYS" so they are the compound sentence

F is for

A is and

N is nor

B is but

O is or

Y is yet

S is so

Compound sentence - when you see an subordinate clause or if the conjunction are in although, until, where, whenever, because etc.. Are the complex sentence

Now your answers

1) Compound (because there is "and")

2) Complex (because there is although)

3) Compound (because there is "but")

4) simple (because there is "main clause" )

**Hope you understand the concept of simple compound and complex **
