5. A Football Match
Last Sunday I witnessed a
football match. It was a friendly
match. It was played between
Adarsh School team and Model
School team. It was played in the
Nehru Stadium. Shri S.L. Kapoor
was the match referee.
The referee blew his whistle
on time. Both the teams entered
the ground. There was a toss. The Adarsh School team won the
toss and chose the side. Then the match started. It was slow in the
beginning. After sometime it became brisk. Both the teams were
equally strong. The players of both the teams played well. But not
team was able to score a goal during the first half.
After the interval the match became more intense. Suddenly
the Adarsh School team got a good chance and scored a goal. The
Model School team tried hard to score a goal. But it was all in vain.
The Adarsh team won the match by one goal to nil.
