Answer: Speed = Distance/ Time

First we have to convert the time given from minutes to hour so we have to divide 40 mins by 60.

So, Speed = 60/40/60 km/hr

=1/40 km/hr

= 0.025km/hr

Again in m/sec

We have to multiply 40 mins with 60 to get the time in sec. And multiply 60km with 1000 to get the five time in metre.

So, Speed = 25m/sec
