Schools are trying to inculcate the habit of reading among its students by indulging them in various book-readimg activities.

The habit of reading is one of the most fruitful activity for the young minds. Various schools around Uttar pradesh have come with different ideas to encourage their students for reading.

The schools have cut down their academic sessions from 6 hours to 4 hours to give space for library. Each student is meant to spend to register their names to upcoming 'Read-a-thon' happening at the second staurday of everymonth.

Students are also given positions for checking and maintenace of atleast 10 books for each month.

These activities help children in polishing their creative and informative skills.
