2. Nutrients flow can't be static, as this will create deficiency of nutrients and minerals in the nature. So, this should be cycled through regulatory functions of ecosystem. Thus ecosystem performs nutrients cycles to regulate the flow of nutrients to make available nutrients for biological activities.
