Given:

Rope of length 10 cm

To Find:

Which figure has the biggest area formed by the rope = ?

Solutions:

Perimeter = 4s = 10

                      s = 10/4

Area that is covered by Square = s^{2}

                                                     = 6.25 cm

Perimeter for triangle = 3s = 10

                                        s = 10/3

Area of the equilateral triangle = \sqrt{3} /4 × s^{2} = 4.81cm

To calculate radius, circumference of circle = 10

                                        2 Πr = 10

                                           r = 10/  2 Π

Area of the circle = Π r^{2}

                             = 3.14 × r^{2}

                             = 3.14 × 10/  2 Π ×10/  2 Π

                            =  15.92

 Circle has the biggest area in all the figure
