1) Photosynthesis is the process by which plants, some bacteria, and some protistans use the energy from sunlight to produce sugar, which cellular respiration converts into ATP, the "fuel" used by all living things.

2) Autotrophs are known as producers because they are able to make their own food from raw materials and energy. Examples include plants, algae, and some types of bacteria. Heterotrophs are known as consumers because they consume producers or other consumers. Dogs, birds, fish, and humans are all examples of heterotrophs.

3) Plants make their own food in the presence of sunlight and hence they are autotrophs. Plants convert sunlight energy into chemical energy. They use carbon dioxide, water and sunlight to make their own food in the presence of chlorophyll.

Hope it helps you!!

Heterotrophs- Don't have chlorophyll and cant make food. Consumers.

3. Mode of nutrition is the process by which an organism obtains food or nutrients.
