With the atom and hydrogen bombs and the monstrous “medical” experiments in Hitler’s concentration camps, our men of science have a guilty conscience, and there are those who have lost no time in taking advantage of this in order to launch an attack on science itself as the true criminal.
Life today is governed and conditioned by the off-shoots of Science. We cannot imagine existence without it. Science has given us knowledge. All knowledge is power. Power should be controlled by the mind. Science has improved the circumstances of man, not the man himself. The mind of man makes a heaven of hell and hell of heaven. The war weapons were made. Science did not compel us to make them. It was our greed mad madness for power that urged us to make them. The ruin of Nagasaki and Hiroshima by two bombs is an example.
Besides it, we make bad things at cheap rates. We are becoming more selfish. The cheap things are produced with great polish and show. It is a blot to modern commercialism. It is cheating and nothing else more production, more money – that is our motto. We are more immoral today. We were better in past. The feeling of life and sympathy are driven out from the hearts of people. There is hatred and ill-feeling based on moral and economic corruption.
The disadvantage of new mobile phones is too many can communicate with us all at the same time. He can create scams and spam in many ways. Young people have also been very addicted to gadgets that they can spend too much time with them. A disadvantage of production is the energy it uses. It consumes a lot of energy to run the machines. And so, we need more fuel, and that will leave a lot of waste and pollution to our environment. This is the most destructive price for the technology of our time. We cannot avoid the inconveniences that come with the benefits of technology.
