- A battery is a device consisting of one or more electrochemical cells with external connections for powering electrical devices such as flashlights, mobile phones, and electric cars. When a battery is supplying electric power, its positive terminal is the cathode and its negative terminal is the anode.
- The filament of an electric bulb is made of tungsten because it has some amazing properties including the highest melting point (3422oC), lowest vapor pressure, and greatest tensile strength out of all the metals.
- Vegetative parts (Figure 1) include roots, stems, shoot buds, and leaves; they are not directly involved in sexual reproduction. Vegetative parts often are used in asexual forms of reproduction such as cuttings, budding, or grafting.
- In plants there are two modes of reproduction, asexual and sexual. There are several methods of asexual reproduction such as fragmentation, budding, spore formation and vegetative propagation. Sexual reproduction involves the fusion of male and female gametes.
- There are a number of types of asexual reproduction including fission, fragmentation, budding, vegetative reproduction, spore formation and agamogenesis.
- Vegetative propagation methods include: • rooting of cuttings, • layering or marcotting, • grafting, • micropropagation. Propagation is the natural mechanism by which plants regenerate. Propagation by seeds is the main method by which plants reproduce in nature.

Answer:
- A battery is a device consisting of one or more electrochemical cells with external connections for powering electrical devices
- Tungsten is a good electrical conductor. It is also a good thermal conductor.
- roots, stems, shoot buds, and leaves are the vegitive parts of plants..
- In plants there are two modes of reproduction, asexual and sexual.
- There are 6 types of asexual reproduction :they are:fission, fragmentation, budding, vegetative reproduction, spore formation and agamogenesis.
- Leaves:Leaves of a few plants get detached from the parent plant and develop into a new plant.
Stem:Runners grow horizontally above the ground.
Roots. New plants emerge out of swollen, modified roots known as tubers.
7.The material mainly used for fuse element are tin, lead, silver, copper, zinc, aluminum, and an alloy of lead and tin. An alloy of lead and tin is used for small current rating fuses.
8. sperm, ovary
9.The flowers which contain both male and female reproductive organs are known as full or bisexual flowers. Examples:rose, sunflower, lily etc..
10.The flowers which contain only the male or female reproductive organs are called unisexual flowers. Example:watermelon, papaya etc..
