Take Ag in a container and measure it's weight
again take Cl in a container and measure the weight.
Add their weights and note it on a paper
Now mix Ag and Cl in a single container and after mixing them just measure the weight
You will find that the weights in both the cases is same
But the mixing must be done on a closed container
