There can be many types of modes depending n the topic.
As on energy you can make a model on wing energy.
First make a windmill stand and then on the top attach a small dc motor connected with blades made from plastic and connect the wires to the led,
When you'll blow on the turbines to make it move, the led will glow.

You can make model of an atom of Rutherford. For gold foil you can use transparent yellow sheet. For atoms you can use mirrors. And place one bulb in centre of the sheet. When bulb glow, the light will be reflected back from mirrors and the place which is not covered with mirrors the light will passed.
