the criteria of deciding division in plant are the presence and absence of seeds and flower differentiation of body parts presence or absence of specialized vascular tissues and nature of the seeds. the criteria for subdivision among animals are the presence or absence of no tochord and coelom position of never cord , gill slits, body segmantions , habitat and oviparity or viviparity.
