This concept is that of intervention of science to explain certain scientific mysteries. Basically the concept talks about using scientific ways or means to help discover or unravel certain mysteries of the world. Things which are unknown. To be able to declare something as a discovery, there is a need of logic, understanding, evidences or proof. For example if we look at a mummy. If that mummy was not once upon a time subjected to scientific scrutiny, we would never have known more about the great and the last heir of a powerful family that had ruled their country for centuries. This helps us to discover about the past.

There is also a need to use scientific invention to find out things about the past and then match them with logic and create an outline a map for our upcoming generations.

For instance,  the knowledge we have of King Tut's mummy helped the modern world to discover a lot of things about the king.  Like who was the last heir of a powerful family who, how did he die,  was it murder or natural death, etc.

Scientific intervention is necessary to unearth hidden mysteries because of a number of reasons:

1) Scientists know how to look for hidden mysteries and where to look for

2) They know how to take care of the thousand-year-old artifacts

3) They know what is what, and can identify any hidden mysteries from the depth of their knowledge.
