Heya user !!!

Here I'm with my opinion against the motion that Scientist should be allowed to test new medical products on animals.

As humans, with the most advanced mind, we should take it as moral duty to prevent any pain to any of the Lord's creations, may it be hamans, dogs, monkeys , rats and even ants. But using then in lab for experiments is something that leads to suffering and pain which cannot be prevented.

Eventhough these experiments are carried out with severe care that does not affect the sensitive parts of animals, it can result in fatal diseases and infections in animals. And when they suffer because of these diseases there is no one to cure them. Experiments are carried out with certain restrictions but these restrictions are either overlooked or are underlying.

This doenot only affect animals but these experiments that we do to find out if the drug or vaccine etc can do anything to humans, we fail in that too.

More than 35 types of vaccines have been tested in animals and are found to work in them. But failed when given to humans. More than 95 types of drugs are successful in case of animals but failed in case of humans.

Developing techniques that don't involve animals in experiments can offer an end to animal suffering, better research tools and improved therapies.

For instance, recent research at London's Institute of Cancer has developed the world's first three-dimensional, multi-cellular test tube model. This model helps to eexperimentabout the implantations that earlier involved mice.

Already, this research has revealed that certain cells in healthy breast tissue can suppress tumour growth. Whereas the same experiment with mice yielded no result.

If we yield no result and upon that force the animals to suffer for us why do we at all use them. It is not at all funny seeing animals suffering, I guess.

We have brains, we can find other ways to test our drugs. Why to involve animals. THEY ARE NOT OURS TO NEITHER EAT, WEAR, EXPERIMENT ON OR USE THEM FOR OUR ENTERTAINMENT.
