Scott wants to decorate his office on Christmas. He wants to run a string of lights along the boundary of a 1 m 50 cm long and 1 m wide window. Find the length of the string he must buy.

Find out :- The length of the strings = ?

The length of the window L = 1m 50 cm = 150 cm

The width of the window W = 1 m = 100 cm

Perimeter of the window P = 2 (L+W)

P= 2(150+100)= 2× 250= 500 cm = 5 meter

So that Scott needs to buy the 5 meter long strings to enclose along the boundary of the window.
