(1). The story is written by the author Martha Salinas in which the jacket was awarded to the children in eighth class as form of the scholarship whenever they used to score good marks.

(2). Martha was a topper of her class and at the time of the scholarship also she scored very well. But the Boards wanted to give the jacket to Joann. Teacher asked Martha to pay 15$ for the jacket. She was sad and told her grandfather.

(3). Her grandfather told her that if it's a scholarship then she shouldn't pay for it. She said exactly to the the teacher. He was impressed by Martha, so he gave the scholarship jacket to her.
