sea water contains bromides ,iodides ,chlorides of na , k, mg and ca . but it primarily contains nacl.

Hey !!

Sea water contains chlorides , bromides and iodides of Na , K , Mg and Ca, but mainly sodium chloride solution (2.5 % by mass ). Certain forms of marine life contain iodine in their systems.

Example :- Seaweeds contain up to 0.5 % of iodine as sodium iodine.
