Answer:

water distilation however may seem as process of separating salt from sea water but is not so there are too many impurities which just do not get separated due to different boiling points. Also energy required to convert such large amount of sea water into pure water will be too much high! In areas where the need to do is high and the countries are well off economies like saudi arabia sea water distillation is preferred but country like like india which is a developing economy doing this will be really difficult. Thus it is not much in use !

Answer

Explanation:

we don't use distillation method to remove salt from sea water and use it for drinking purpose because :

1) distillation process of sea water is expensive .

2) the output is slow.

3) the distillation unit requires a lot of energy.

4) it removes certain minerals required by our body.

∴these factors make distillation of sea water for drinking purpose in effective.
