You must be knowing that all rivers end up in seas. The rivers carry sediments, salts that they have eroded in the upper course ( erosion of hills and mountains terrains by rivers) , and deposit in the seas. Evaporation takes place from the seas and again falls back into seas but the salts are present always. It is due to these salts that sea water is salty.
