Hello Dear.

Here is your answer---

Answer → Option C. Monsoons.

Explanation →

Seasons in South Asia depends mostly on the Monsoon. Climate of the South Asia is called as the Mirror of the Climate of Asia as it represents the climate of whole Asia.Location of the South Asia is the Main Factor For the Monsoon Climate.

Before Discussing about that, we first know what is monsoon.

Monsoon is the Arabic words which means ''Mausim''. Monsoon are those winds which blows from one part to another and reverses there direction periodically on the bases of High or low pressure.

Now, During the Summer, land gets heated up faster which further creates the Low Pressure(One Hemisphere of the Earth). Thus, Winds blows from the High Pressure(Other Hemisphere of the Earth) to the Low Pressure.

When the winds blows they carry the moisture and when they arrives in the low pressure area( and strikes the Mountains) they shed there moisture in the form of Rainfall.

South Asia lie near the water bodies and have many mountains which are suitable for the Tropical Monsoon Climate.
Some of the Factors are →

Position of South Asia.
Presence of Himalayas.
Rainfall in Winter Season.
Extreme and Moderate Conditions.
Jet Streams.

These all Factors proves that the Climate of India or you can say South Asia is Monsoon. In Fact, these Factors are the Main Reason for the Monsoon Climate of India or South Asia.

Hence Option C. Monsoons is correct.

Hope it helps.
