The heart is called as the seat of respiration. It is a chief organ of respiration. It is made up of cardiovascular muscles which works without any break.

Respiration is defined as the process of breathing in oxygen and releasing out carbon dioxide. The organ which are involved in are nose, lungs, windpipe, heart, blood. This whole-body organ makes a respiratory system.

Heart is known as pump of the body as it continuously pumps the blood. That is made up of special type of tissue which is involuntary in nature. There are several veins and articles which carries blood throughout the body and brings back the deoxygenated blood.
