I think there an error in the question .

It may be like this ,

sec 16 Cosec 74 - cot 74 tan16



i ) cosec 74 = cosec ( 90 - 16 )

= sec 16

iii ) cot 74 = cot ( 90 - 16 )

= tan 16

Now ,

sec 16° cosec 74 - cot 74 tan16

= sec 16 sec 16 - tan 16 × tan 16

= sec² 16 - tan² 16

= 1

[ since sec² x - tan² x = 1 ]

Hiii friend,

Sec16° × Cosec(90-16°) - Cot(90-16°) × Tan16°

=> Sec16° × Sec16° - Tan16° × Tan16°

=> Sec²16° - Tan16°

=> 1.
