Answer:

sec^2 theta + Cot^2theta - tan^2 theta - cosec^2 theta

= sec^2 theta - tan^2 theta + Cot^2theta - cosec^2 theta

= 1 - 1

= 0

Let me take theta = x for convenience of typing.

sec^2(x) = tan^2(x) + 1

cosec^2(x) = cot^2(x) + 1

Substituting the formula in the question,

= tan^2(x) + cot^2(x) + 1 - tan^2(x) - cot^2(x) - 1

= 0
