Given: (sec 2A - 1) (cosec 3A - 1) = 0

To find: The angle A.

Solution:

  • Now we have given (sec 2A - 1) (cosec 3A - 1) = 0
  • Equating each bracket with 0, we get :

                   (sec 2A - 1) = 0

                   sec 2A = 1

                   sec 2A = sec 0 degree

                   2A = 0

                   A = 0

  • Similarly, we have:

                   (cosec 3A - 1) = 0

                   cosec 3A = 1

                   cosec 3A = cosec 90 degree

                   3A = 90

                   A = 30

Answer:

          So the value of A is 0 or 30.
