 =  \frac{ \sqrt{2 \times  \sqrt{2}  } + 1 }{ \sqrt{2} }

 =  \frac{3}{ \sqrt{2} }

Rationalising the denominator we get

  = \frac{3}{ \sqrt{2} }  \times  \frac{ \sqrt{2} }{ \sqrt{2} }

  = \frac{3 \sqrt{2} }{2}
