=> x² - y² = (x+y) (x-y)

So,

Sec² A - Tan² A = 1

Now adding equation (1) and (2) we get,

Sec A + Tan A = 3

+ Sec A - Tan A = ⅓

2 Sec A = 3 +⅓

or, Sec A = ½ × (9+1)/3 = ½× 10/3

or, Sec A = 5/3 ___answer__
