 {sec}^{2} x(1 + sec2x) \\  =  {sec}^{2}x(1 +  \frac{1 +  {tan}^{2}x }{1 -  {tan}^{2}x }  ) \\  = (1 +  {tan}^{2} x)( \frac{1 - {tan}^{2} x + 1 + {tan}^{2} x}{1 -{tan}^{2} x } ) \\  = (1 + {tan}^{2} x)( \frac{2}{1  - {tan}^{2} x } ) \\  = 2sec2x \\ hence \: proved
