squaring both sides
sec^2a+tan^2a-2seca tana=2tan^2a
sec^2a-tan^2a=2secatana
(seca+tana)(seca-tana)=2seca tana
seca+tana=2seca tana/(seca-tana)
seca+tana=2seca tana/roo2 tana (using first line)
seca+tana=roo2seca proved
