Second conditionals :-

Second conditionals are words used to express or talk about possible or imaginary situations.

They also depend on the tense suitable for each sentence.

a) If the weather _____(not, be) so bad, we _____(go) to the park.

→ If the weather wasn't so bad, we would have gone to the park.

b) If I ____ (know) where she lived, I ____(visit) her.

→ If I knew where she lived, I would have visited her.

c) If I ____ (be) taller, I ____ (buy) this dress.

→ If I was taller, I would have bought this dress.

d) If I _____(be) you, I ____ (give up) nail biting.

→ If I were you, I would give up nail biting.

e) I ____(tell) you the answer if I ____(know) what it was.

→ I would have told you the answer if I knew what it was.

Hope this helps you :)
