Second law states tha force applied is directly proportional to the displacement. F= ma
Derivation:
We know that F~ dp /dt
So F=k dp/dt
We know that P=mv
So, F=k dmv/dt
F=km dv/dt
We know that a= dv/dt
So F= kma
If constant k=1,
Then, F=ma.
