secondary are the spleen and the lymph nodes

the primary are the thymus and the bone marrow

  the bone marrow is the site of production of all blood cells and the site of maturation of the b-lymphocytes

 the thymus is the site of maturation of t-lymphocytes and it is larger in children than in adults

 the spleen it is located in the abdomen it contains b-lymphocytes and t-lymphocytes involved  in immune response against infection in blood

 

   the lymph they are small round structures present in groups around the small intestine, stomach in the neck, and under armpits. they contain b-lymphocytes and t-lymphocytes involved in the immune response  against infections in tissue
