  • You probably detected the output wire is thicker than the input one. Even being the facility out same the power in. simply because it's projected to drive a lot of current within the output than in the input .  
  • More current (amps) desires a lot of metal to be allotted. For the identical reason we tend to use high voltage (like 69000 Volts) to hold power from an influence plant to homes.  
  • Just to be ready to use less metal (thinner wires - cheaper) and keep the number of power high.  
  • In transmission lines: less current, more volts, same power, less metal in wires => cheaper gear.
