Given : ab= 300 and HCF (a,b) = 5,

To Find :  LCM (a,b).

Solution:

ab= 300 and HCF (a,b) = 5,

LCM (a,b). = ?

LCM (a,b). x HCF (a,b)  = a x b

=> LCM (a,b).  x 5  = 300

=> LCM (a,b).  = 60

Possible numbers   5 , 60  

or  15 , 20

4x+py+8=0

2x+2y+2=0

unique  => 4/2  ≠  p/2  => p ≠ 4

If one zero of the polynomial 2x²+3x+p is  1/2

=> 2(1/2)² + 3(1/2) + p = 0

=> 1/2 + 3/2 + p = 0

=> 2 + p = 0

=> p = - 2

18,a,b,-3 are in A.P  => a + b  = 15

18 , 11 , 4 , - 3 is AP

6,13,20................. 216.

terms = n  => 216 = 6 + (n - 1) 7  => n = 31  middle term = 16

=> 6 + (16 - 1) 7  = 111

or ( 6 + 216)/2  = 111

X+3y = 6

2x-3y = 12

=> 1/2  ≠ - 1 Hence consistent
