Massive fire caused by Diwali firework display

Place, Date: A massive fire erupted in a nearby backyard after a Diwali firework display went horribly wrong. The Diwali crackers malfunctioned leading to a massive explosion that caused one person's backyard and a neighboring backyard to catch fire. No one was injured or killed in the incident.

Authorities say that this was not an uncommon occurrence as there were several reports of fires all throughout the area. The chief of police stated that "Diwali is a time when firecrackers are very common. But people are being too reckless with the ways in which they use it." He goes on to say, "As long as you keep safe and do not harm anyone there should not be any problem in using fireworks." The neighbors have reported damages done to the property including broken vases and burnt plants.

As of now, the neighbors are not pressing any charges for the destruction of property but the police are placing safety warnings all throughout the area to ensure that incidents like these do not happen again.

• The introduction is all the main information that a person reads first. The body contains any elaboration and any emotional connections that need to be added. Keep in mind that this is a report so limit the emotional connection to just quotes and statements. Finally, the conclusion ties everything together.
