Answer:

Given,

1) a = -11/27

2) b = 4/9

3) c = -5/8

To Find :-

Verify that :-

a+(b + c) = (a + b) + c

Solution :-

First take L.H.S :-

a + (b + c)

\dfrac{-11}{27} + \bigg(\dfrac{4}{9} + \dfrac{-5}{8}\bigg)

Removing Brackets :-

\dfrac{-11}{27} + \dfrac{4}{9} + \dfrac{-5}{8}

Taking R.H.S :-

\bigg(\dfrac{-11}{27} + \dfrac{4}{9}\bigg) + \dfrac{-5}{8}

Removing Brackets :-

\dfrac{-11}{27} + \dfrac{4}{9} + \dfrac{-5}{8}

Since, L.H.S = R.H.S
