Read the passage carefully and answer the question given below:- ( 1X8 = 8)
When the earth was formed, God made sure that it was balanced beautifully,
giving appropriate weight age to each living and non-living thing. Still we see,
most of us appreciate beauty and look down upon something which is ugly. But
sometime it so happens that it is the ugly which thus out to be more useful in
society than the magnificent creatures. Thus while a bald headed, grizzle necked
vulture also known as the scavenger is busy keeping the environment clean by
disposing of the dead and decayed bodies, beautiful peacockwith all its colour and
brilliant plume is only an eye candy.
Vultures are doing the work which keep the living things hale and hearty.
Unfortunately, the vultures have been ignored by man. Very few among us are
aware of their valuable work and also the fact that they are dwindling away.
Fortunately, some people have become conscious at last and are thinking that
man has to do something to save bird from becoming extinct.
