4) On 11 October 2020, an area of low pressure concentrated into a depression
over the west-central Bay of Bengal. It further intensified into a deep depression
on 12 October as it moved slowly west-northwestwards. After that, Bay of Bengal
‘(BOB-02)’ made heavy rainfall in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the early
hours of 13 October. It continued to pour cats and dogs on 14 and 15 October.
Hyderabad is the worst flood victim. People of Hyderabad suffered a lot. They
have spent many days in darkness due to power cut. Transportation, food and
communication all these are the hurdles people are facing.

The Low pressure Area over Central parts of Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood lay as a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood at 0830 hours IST of today, the 21st October, 2020. It is very likely to move northwestwards during next 24 hours and move north-northeastwards thereafter towards West Bengal-Bangladesh coasts across Northwest Bay of Bengal off Odisha coast during subsequent 48 hours. It is likely to concentrate into a Depression by tomorrow and further into a Deep Depression during the subsequent 24 hours.
