Hi Ami

Ans1:-Let S = 1 + 2 + 3 + . . . + 1000 Using the formula Sn =n/2(a+1) for the sum of the first n terms of an AP, we have S1000=1000/2(1+1000)=500x1001=500500 So, the sum of the first 1000 positive integers is 500500.

Ans3:-Let the amount with Sagar be x

Amount with Mukund =₹x+50

The product of the money have is 15000

x(x+50)=15000

=x²+50x=15000

=x²×50x-15000=0

=x²+150x-100x-15000=0

=x(x+150)-100(x+150)=0

=(x-100)(x+150)=0

=x100,-150

But the amount cannot be negative so,

Amount with Sagar =₹100 and that with Mukund =₹150

Hope it helps Army
