visited an orphanage and saw many children living in poor conditions. You
feel sympathy for them. They should get good food, healthy living
conditions and proper education. Write a letter (100 - 120 words) to the
editor of a national daily requesting the authorities to take proper care of
these helpless children,

You are writing a formal letter to an editor. The format should be as follows:

Subject: Write the subject of the letter
Body of the letter: It must be split into three paragraphs as follows:
Paragraph 1: Introduce yourself and the purpose of writing the letter in brief.
Paragraph 2: Give detail of the matter.
Paragraph 3: Conclude by mentioning what you expect from the editor. (For example, you may want him to highlight the issue in his newspaper/magazine).

Since this is creative writing, I will not tell you the answer directly. You will have to write it on your own. I will, however, help you by giving some helpful points for you to work around:
- Would like to express concern over poor condition of orphans
- Malnourished, have no access to health care
- No means of getting any sort of formal education
- A recent visit to an orphanage
- Could see the pain in eyes
- Not being taken care of properly
- Shyness exhibited by them
- Desire to have authorities take proper care of orphans
- Set up more orphanages and employ better wardens
