• The answer to the second question is that during the war, there was a demand for tamarind seeds.
• Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam used to collect these seeds and sell them at the provision shop on Mosque street.
• A day's collection of seeling these tamarind seeds would fetch him the princely sum of one anna.
• The answer to the third question is Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam would try to trace the stories about the war that were told by his brother-in-law Jalaluddin in the headlines in Dinamani.
