Find the Present Age of Prit and Priyanka.

Solⁿ:

Ratio - 3:4

Let prit's age be - 3x

Let priyanka's be - 4x

ATQ,

After 5 yrs Sum of their ages is - 45

After 5 yrs (Prit's age) - 3x + 5

After 5 yrs (Priyanka's age) - 4x + 5

So , eqⁿ is :

3x + 5 + 4x + 5 = 45

7x + 10 = 45

7x = 45 - 10

7x = 35

x = 35/7

x = 5

Their Present Ages :

3x = 3×5 = 15 yrs ( Prit )

4x = 4×5 = 20 yrs (Priyanka )
