a) The shortest distance between the initial position and final position of the object is called the Displacement of that moving object .

b) Acceleration is the rate of change in velocity

Acceleration is equal to final velocity minus initial velocity divided by time .

c) When an object moves on a circular path then its motion is said to be circular motion .

Speed

i) Speed is a scalar quantity.

ii) It cannot be zero for a moving object and cannot be negative also.

Velocity

i) Velocity is a vector quantity .

ii)It can be zero or it can also be negative for a moving object.
