a).The speaker is Marcus Brutus.

b). Mark Anthony is being granted permission.

c).The speaker is afraid of Mark Anthony's speaking skills. Through his speech, Mark Anthony has the ability to conquer peoples support. Brutus is afraid that he might say something against the conspirators who killed Caesar.

d). The speaker trusts Anthony deeply and is kind. Even after decius warned him about Anthony's remarkable speaking ability, he still lets him speak at the funeral.
