Explanation:

You have to write a letter to Forest Officer to take steps to conserve forest.

To

The Forest Officer,

Forest Department,

Nagpur

Subject: Request to take concrete steps for conservation of forests

You may consider following points for body:

- I, Preeti, a resident of "place", want to bring your attention to a serious issue. - The forest cover of Maharashtra equivalent to three times the size of Tadoba reserve has vanished in the previous two decades. What has the Forest Department doing all the while?- The responsibility of the Forest Department is to maintain and grow the forest area but why haven't any measures taken to protect it?- Forest are the most essential elements of life and with forest area decreasing, life of everyone is at risk. Climate is badly affected. The rainfall has decreased, whereas the sea level is rising. All this leads to extinction.- Considering the fact that forests are essential for our own life, we ought to take measures to conserve them. I request you to take a close look into this issue and take actions.- All the people who are involved in clearing forest areas needs to be punished.- If forest needs to be cleared for some reason, then they should ensure that equal or rather more trees are planted and grown.- I hope you will take necessary measures.

Thank you

Your faithfully

Preeti Desai.
